I really enjoyed my stay and would happily return. I'd give it more than 4 stars, everything was perfect. The room was reasonably spacious and contemporary. The fabulous view of the river from the garden from the window was especially wonderful.

The hotel is enchanting and brilliant with exceptional employees from receptionist to room chambermaids James manager. Really modern rooms with very good beds, food delicious. Good hot and delicious breakfast, a huge variety of meals. Marvellous location in the restaurant on the Saturday night, and only about 5 minutes' walk to Cockermouth centre.
